We’re Adriatico, a small Italian wine bar on Guildford Road, and we’ve spent the last few years trying to build the kind of place we’d actually want to spend an evening in ourselves. About Adriatico in Lightwater
We’re a small, family-run bar and Tony, the owner, is usually the one behind the counter pouring wine and telling people what’s worth trying that week. His family’s from Emilia-Romagna, and that background shaped a lot of how the place runs, less about ticking boxes on a menu, more about wine and food that actually belong together.
Lightwater itself is a small village, so we’ve never pretended to be a big destination venue. What we’ve tried to be instead is the kind of local wine bar people are genuinely glad exists on their doorstep, and one that pulls people in from Camberley, Bagshot, Windlesham and Chobham too.

We’re not a full restaurant menu kind of place. Expect:
